Workshop consultation with stakeholders on nanotechnology applications in the Bucharest-Ilfov region
March 30, 2017, the Polytechnic University of Bucharest

Polytechnic University of Bucharest and the Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI), partners in the project NMP-REG: Delivering Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials and Production to Regione manufacturing, financed Interregional Cooperation Program INTERREG EUROPE organizes event the second workshop of the project stakeholders NMP - REG on 30 March 2017.
The event focuses on the necessary ingredients for transferring innovation from nanomaterials and advanced materials production sector to the commercial sector and is dedicated to preparing the implementation of lessons learned from interregional cooperation to develop a regional action plan. It will provide details about how lessons learned from interregional cooperation will be implemented to improve regional framework on nanotechnology applications in the areas of smart specialization.

Target audience: session dated March 30, 2017 is open to both partners and stakeholders, the presence of the latter being strongly encouraged.

NMP-REG Project

NMP-REG interregional cooperation project funded by INTERREG EUROPE involve public organizations in different regions of Europe to work together within five years, taking a direction common policy ensuring that lessons learned from cooperation are implemented .
The overall strategic objective of INTERREG EUROPE is to improve the implementation of policies and regional development programs, the main programs under the Investment for growth and jobs and, if appropriate, objective programs CTE by promoting the exchange of experiences and learning of new policies, among actors of regional interest.

NMP-REG project has among its objectives:

• improving the performance of regional policies in the areas of nanotechnology, advanced materials and production systems
• facilitating access industry nanotechnologies, advanced materials and production systems
• development (Phase 1) and starting and monitoring the implementation (phase 2) a plan of action to improve policies on nanotechnologies, advanced materials and production systems
• promote networking in nanotechnologies, advanced materials and production systems at EU level, including the distribution of orientation of the Action Plan NMP-REG through Learning Platform Policies, online publications and other relevant media.

International Seminar on Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine
BIOREMED 2017

- Todays research for tomorrow medicine
5-8 October 2017, Timisoara, Romania

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you at the conference International Seminar on Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine (BioReMed 2017), in Timisoara, Romania, on 5-8 October 2017.
The conference will be organized by the Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timișoara, Faculty of Dentistry, in partnership with the Romanian Society of Biomaterials.
The purpose of this event is to discuss and suggest improvements in the medicine of today and tomorrow. Considering that interdisciplinary cooperation is the pathway to evolution, we would like to bring together scientists from the field of biomaterials and tissue engineering with clinicians from different areas of expertise that includes dentistry, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, cardiovascular surgery, general and aesthetic surgery, as well as pharmaceutical science. All clinicians are invited to present their results on the clinical performance of current medical devices and join in the debates on the translation of biomaterials and tissue engineering research into clinical practice.
Representative keynotes and invited speakers from all over the world will present the latest trends in biomaterials, tissue engineering, medical devices and regenerative medicine at this interdisciplinary conference. At the same time, a Technical Exhibition of interest for the participants will run in parallel with the scientific sessions.
Hoping that you will honor us with your presence and scientifc contribution.
We are waiting to welcome you at Timisoara, Romania!
