Joint Event Under MARIE & NMP-REG Projects
Participation of SRB at the "Joint Event Under MARIE & NMP-REG Projects: Responsible Research and Innovation in Nanotechnologies"
On December 13, 2017, the SRB representatives participated in the "Joint Event Under MARIE & NMP-REG Projects: Responsible Research and Innovation in Nanotechnologies" meeting at the Politehnica University in Bucharest. The event focused on presenting a series of good practices from several European regions in Italy, Germany, Greece, Spain, Finland, Ireland and Romania, and debating opportunities and challenges related to the responsible development of nanotechnologies.
SRB was already part of the NMP-REG stakeholder group, which aims to improve the implementation of regional nanotechnology, advanced materials and manufacturing policies by facilitating their integration into industrial activity and with participation in this Working meeting has also become part of the MARIE project stakeholders' group that aims to improve regional public policies that support responsible research and innovation in designing, producing and distributing innovation in smart specialization sectors. As such, SRB actively participates in the dialogue between key public, academic, private stakeholders and representatives of society for a unified approach to addressing issues related to the development of nanotechnology.
