It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 4th International Conference “Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering & Medical Devices” BiomMedD’2010, on 23-25th September, 2010. The conference will take place at the International Hotel in Sinaia, in the most popular Romanian mountain resort area – Prahova Valley, with beautiful surroundings and the possibility to visit the famous Peles Castle and Bran Castle.
A Technical Exhibition will run in addition with the Conference and will attract widespread interest from participants and exhibitors. The conference will also host a Young Scientists Forum section and the 9th General Assembly of the Romanian Society for Biomaterials.
The aim of this event is to bring together scientists from both basic and applied biomedical research. A significant attendance is expected from the other biomaterials and medical societies. Several Romanian societies from the medical field will endorse this conference. Active participation from academy, industry and clinical centres with different specialities is encouraged.

First, thanks for your participation acceptance at the 4th International Conference “Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering & Medical Devices” BiomMedD’2010, on 23-25th September, 2010.
We look forward to seeing you at the Conference.
We invite you to send a Bionote (short biographical presentation) which will include text and photo and a short abstract of your presentation. We enclose a model, intended for web site use.
Also, due to its importance in our Academic Society, we decided to invite all our Honored Guest to participate also with the redaction of an extended paper (20-30 pages) on their preferred topic. With your acceptance, a book "New Trends in Biomaterials and Medical Devices" will be published under RSB endorsement.

Participants enrolled in the BIOMMEDD'2010 conference are asked to send the extended abstracts [as ECM template available on the conference website] to e-mail address biommedd2010.org.committee@gmail.com [Plus a copy to iantoniac@gmail.com ].
It is also still available the conference registration of participants through IT application on the conference website [heading "Abstract Submission Form.]
Detailed program of the conference BIOMMEDD'2010 will be available in late August.
For any problem of accommodation please contact Miss. Ionela Stanciu, at the travel agency VERDIS [details are available in the form Accommodation Forms BiomMedD'2010].

Awards SRB / 2010
|
SRB members are asked to submit proposals for the 2010 awards SRB.
DANIEL BUNEA Prize is awarded to recognize, encourage and stimulate the contribution of a member of the SRB to develop biomaterials in Romania, seen as relevant for 2010, reflected both by the prestigious scientific papers and other activities (teaching, research, organization and promotion). SRB Scholarship is awarded annually to encourage and stimulate the development of a young member of the SRB to work in biomaterials, regarded as the most promising year, reflected in the relevant scientific papers and other activities (teaching, research, organization, promotion).
We must obtain a paper work by candidates at the conference BIOMMEDD'2010. Proposals will be accompanied by a short CV and a statement of the activity of the nominated candidate by 2010.
